"Alright. I'll try to find something good to eat. I'll even share my food with you," Zac said jokingly to Kaidance. He placed a kiss on her lips, then got off of the window seat, heading toward the door and taking a hold of the doorknob and turning it to open the door. He began his journey downstairs, to the kitchen.
"Yeah...I know you could. You sweet talk my parents a lot. I can't believe they buy half of the shit that you say," Alice joked, shook her head and laughed at that. She saw Zac enter the kitchen. Obviously he came down here for something to eat. "Is she ok?"
Zac heard Alice's question and looked at her, nodding his head. "Yeah. She's doing better now. Don't worry about it though," he said, grabbing a plate and putting a few pancakes on it. He looked inside of the fridge, to see if there was anything else worth taking out of it.

Destin nodded about what Zac had said, although he felt extremely terrible about it. He hadn't meant to hurt his little sister and he knew she was upset because of him. Alice could think it was about her questioning all she wanted, but Destin knew it was his fault. He noticed that Zac was taking some of the pancakes, which was good. The more he took, the better. "Take as many pancakes as you want," he told Zac before taking another bite. "I got a little carried away."

"Alright," Zac said, chuckling a little bit. He took out the orange juice and then got a glass to pour it in. Once he was done pouring it in, he put away the orange juice back in the refrigerator. He got a fork, then took a hold of his plate and glass, preparing to leave the kitchen. "I can tell you went a little pancake happy. But I'll try and help you finish them the best I can."

"Make Kaidance eat some, too. I'm sure she'll want some anyway the moment you walk up there. She and food are like this," Destin told Zac as he crossed his index and middle finger to demonstrate just how close Kaidance and food were. He knew his little sister loved to eat; that really was no lie. Good thing she was an ice skater or else she'd probably have some problems. He took another bite of his pancakes, thinking about what to say to Zac. He knew he'd have to mention last night to him, even though he really did not want to talk about what happened last night. Destin already knew what went on in the graveyard. "Did you guys stay in the graveyard until five?" he asked, curiously. "We feel asleep early and I never heard you guys come in."

"I was going to make her eat some, anyway. I wouldn't be able to eat all of this food by myself," Zac told Destin, nodding his head at his older, male buddy. It was a well known fact to everyone that Kaidance loved to eat. She always did when she had the chance to. (Sounds like someone else I know, aka me. Haha.)
Zac nodded his head at Destin's question, then chuckled slightly. "Yeah. We stayed until five, then came right home. Although, someone started laying on their horn like crazy. I didn't know what was going on," he said, shrugging his shoulders.
Alice had a feeling that Zac was going to mention the car horn and tried to stifle her laughter. She need to, because she knew that Destin didn't really find it that funny. She stuffed some pancake into her mouth, to keep herself from laughing out loud.

Destin hadn't expected Zac to bring up the horn, but he did. It sort of made Destin feel angry at them all over again, but he had to bite his sharp tongue this time. He couldn't and wouldn't let them know that he and Alice had been at the graveyard also. "Maybe you pissed some ghost off and they were attacking your car," he suggested with a shrug.

"Oh, yeah. Because ghosts can get into my locked car...Wait...Nevermind," Zac said, shaking his head at that. They didn't have a solid thing in their body, so of course they could get inside of his locked car. "Anyway, what I'm saying is we did stay there until five. Wasn't even that scary, actually."

Destin opened his mouth to smart off, once again, but decided to place pancakes in there instead. He knew why the whole night hadn't been scary and it involved a little hanky panky, which Destin did not approve of. Well, he didn't approve of his little sister doing that. It was perfectly fine if anyone else had a little fun behind closed doors. "You better go take those to her," he informed Zac once he swallowed. He nodded his head at the plate of food to show what he was refering to. He needed to dismiss Zac somehow before he let him in on last night's secret.

"Right, right. I might be down for more a little later. We'll see," Zac said, nodding his head at Destin. He exited the kitchen, heading for the staircase that would lead him upstairs to Kaidance's room. Hopefully she was hungry. He really did need her help to clear off his plate that he had.
"I don't know why you get so mad about that. You know that they already do it, Destin," Alice told him, shaking her head at him.

"Maybe because she's my little sister?" Destin pointed out with raised eyebrows. He would defend his side on this even if it meant his death. His little sister did not need to be sleeping with some boy, not until she was forty. "And the last thing she really needs is to get pregnant a-at this time."
Destin had almost said "again" instead of "at", but he thought he had just done a pretty cool save himself.

"Ok. I guess so," Alice said, shrugging her shoulders at Destin. Just because Destin didn't want her little sister having sex, didn't mean he was going to be able to prevent it. She was going to do whatever she pleased, because that's how stubborn she was. Destin and Zac should be the ones to know that the best.

Destin ran a hand through his hair before getting up from the table in a bit of a huff. He picked up his plate and headed for the kitchen, ready to dumped the rest of his meal into the trash. Of course Alice wouldn't get why he was being so protective of her. He didn't even know if he should tell her why. Destin was sure Zac and Kaidance wouldn't approve of Alice knowing about Olivia, but it wasn't like it was a secret. People knew they'd been pregnant when they decided to bury her. It was common knowledge now.

Alice watched as Destin threw away the remainder of the food that was on his plate into the trash. "I'm sorry...What's wrong now?" she asked him, taking another bite of pancake and chewing it slowly.

Destin sat his plate on the counter, then looked in the direction that Zac had gone just to make sure that he was not around here. He knew he had to explain to Alice why he was so protective over his little sister having sex with her boyfriend. He knew Kaidance and Zac wouldn't like hearing about this all over again, so he needed to make sure they weren't within listening distance. Once he was sure, he returned to the table, but sat down next to Alice so he could speak softer. He turned his body to face her side, studying her. "When she got upset this morning, it wasn't because of you," he began, softly.

"Well, I did pressure her a lot into telling me where my clothes were. I even hurt her boyfriend," Alice softly told Destin, shaking her head at herself. She felt so ashamed of herself for doing those kinds of things. But how could that not be why Kaidance was upset? "What was it about then?"
