"Don't remind me..." Zac said, groaning quietly. He hated whenever people told he and Kaidance were unfit parents. They weren't your average family, nowadays. They were like celebrities in a way, because of Zac's career. What had happened tonight on that court could have happened to any other parent, but it wouldn't be as big of a deal for them. Sure, they would get a few calls, but that would have been it, most likely. It was completely different for the Bolton family. They were in the public eye all the time. "Maybe we shouldn't answer the phone tomorrow."

"Then we shouldn't go out either. People will bother us out there as well," Kaidance told Zac, softly. She hated being hounded by the press and she hated being told she was a bad parent. That was bound to happen tomorrow when they went anywhere. Being in the public eye was miserable to her most days. "People already think we're unfit enough with the traveling."

"Well, Jared seems fine with it. He adjusts well. Probably better than most kids his age," Zac said, shrugging. "Maybe we should wear disguises if we go out tomorrow. I'm sure that we could find something. A lot of people do it, and it works sometimes."

Kaidance sighed and closed her eyes once more. She didn't want to have to disguise herself all the time. She wanted to be Kaidance...all the time. Too bad that got her into trouble.
"We'll just have to deal with it," she told Zac. "Eventually someone else will do something and we'll be forgotten about. Just hope that's soon."

"Maybe people will forget it in the morning. There are far more important things in the world to talk about besides our child," Zac said, quietly. He was hoping that people would just brush it off. It wasn't as major as it turned out to be. Jared came out unharmed, and that was all that really mattered. People needed to get over it, and focus on their own children, if they had them. For crying out loud.

"Maybe.." Kaidance mumbled. She wiggled a bit, then heavily exhaled. She was now comfortable and needed to get her sleep. Long day tomorrow, and not just with her kid. There was much to do to prepare for the next town. "Let's go to sleep for now, though."
